John G. Beseau

John G. Beseau

Saint Louis, Missouri

John has a diverse litigation practice, complimented by business and real estate transactional work. He represents a variety of businesses in the construction, logistics, banking, manufacturing, and real estate development and leasing industries. He really enjoys digging into the details of the business and industry involved in a particular case and doing the detective work that builds the claim or defense.

He represents business partners and family members locked in a struggle over the company, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, landlords, tenants, construction project property owners, homeowners, lenders, and borrowers. He serves as general counsel for a number of companies, advising them on corporate and employment matters.

In the construction arena, John has handled cases involving construction defects and deficiencies, contract disputes, non-payment, and mechanic's liens, to name a few. While most of his practice involves representing clients throughout Missouri and Illinois, he has been engaged in handling legal matters for a general contractor in their construction projects throughout the country.

John also has a passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He takes pride in the ability to get meaningful relief for his clients and has had multiple six and seven-figure outcomes.

John is a pragmatist at his core. The dispute is a problem that needs a solution to be reached in the most direct and efficient manner. Unnecessary legal maneuvers cost time and money without advancing the goal: resolution of the dispute by putting or keeping the most money possible in the client's pocket.

John lives in University City, Missouri with his wife and daughter. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Clayton Early Childhood Center and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He is an avid reader, a capable musician, and an enthusiastic yet inconsistent golfer.
