CREW Honors Four Members With Networking Award

St. Louis, MO - March 5, 2010 - The St. Louis chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) presented its Networking Story the Year Award to Lynn Goessling, Herzog Crebs LLP; Sabina A. Frank-Holtzman, Stephen Frank Associates Inc.; Tracy W. Howren, Enterprise Bank & Trust; and Susan Sauer, Duffe-Nuernberger Realty. They were honored at the St. Louis chapter's Fifth Annual Networking Awards Luncheon held in February at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.

The awards revolve around CREW's mission to advance the success of women in commercial real estate, as well as to support the community.

Sauer was approached by a fledgling Charter School to find space needed to open an elementary school by Fall 2009. Sauer eventually found a suitable location listed by Frank-Holtzman. Goessling became involved to provide legal guidance for the building's owner, since renting to a school was a new learning experience. Howren assisted the building's owner in the financing for the required improvements and other modifications necessary to house a school in a 50,000 square foot warehouse.

The efforts of the CREW members enabled the St. Louis Language Immersion School to open its doors to 165 students last August.

About CREW

The St. Louis chapter of CREW Network was started in 1982. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest of CREW's 66 chapters in North America, with more than 200 members from all disciplines in commercial real estate. Its mission is to advance the success of women in commercial real estate through networking and educational opportunities. Additionally, the St. Louis chapter supports the community. Its annual golf tournament has raised more than $500,000 for Safe Connections, formerly known as Women's Support and Community Services, an organization that provides a lifeline to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The CREW CareersÔ program introduces young women to career opportunities in commercial real estate. For more information, visit www.crewstl.org.
