Mr. Ward concentrates his practice in civil litigation defense including products liability toxic torts. Mr. Ward does trial work in the Circuit Courts of Southern, Central and Northern Illinois, including Madison, St. Clair, Peoria and Cook County as well as the City of St. Louis. Mr. Ward has defended a variety of clients from heavy industry to retail establishments throughout the state of Illinois from Chicago to Southern Illinois in toxic torts, products liability, and workers' compensation claims. Mr. Ward's toxic torts practice includes asbestos, benzene and welding rod cases.

Mr. Ward is a member of the bars of the State of Illinois, State of Missouri, the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of Illinois. Mr. Ward earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University in 1989, and his A.B. degree from St. Louis University in 1986.

Mr. Ward was an Adjunct Instructor in the Paralegal Studies Department for Belleville Area College from 1997 to 2000, where he taught federal and state civil procedure and evidence in a litigation course. Mr. Ward is active in the Illinois State Bar Association, is a past and current Assemble delegate for St. Clair County, Illinois, past chair of the Standing Committee on Bar Services and Activities and past chair of the Young Lawyer's Division Law Student Committee. Mr. Ward is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the St. Clair County Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker on behalf of the Illinois State Bar Association to law schools on employment issues. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ward practiced with Pessin, Baird, Wells and Ward and Bonaldi and Clinton, P.C. in Belleville, Illinois.
